It doesn't say anything about it being a movie or anything, yet they shot a pilot?
On Happy Madison's website it doesn't say much about it either. Does anyone know anything more about it?
Well, it's not a movie, it's a tv show. It will be on Comedy Central...I don't know when though, sorry!
shareThe pilot for a TV series was shot in January, but it isn't known yet whether it has been picked up by Comedy Central. GAY ROBOT himself was designed by Stan Winston Studios (which designed 'Robot #7' in THE BENCHWARMERS - this is based on the same design) and played by the same actor as 'Robot #7,' Doug Jones. The character is voiced by Nick Swardson.

shareHey guys what is up? My dad runs Sony TV which makes gay robot. Comedy Central originally wanted it but now they rejected it. If you guys want to have it on the air you need put it out there. There should be a clip of it on youtube. Please do all you can to spread the word of gay robot.

shareBack in May, I'm pretty sure Nick said it got canned. Although there is that fairly new clip circulating...that clip looks waaaay more promising than the first one I saw.
shareI just saw a stand up with Nick yesterday and Gay Robot came up. He said that the show is not happening because comedy central thought it was too crazy/out there but he mentioned he wants to make into a movie if possible.

looks to be a tv show, which is what a pilot is usually for. Just because a pilot was made doesn't mean it gets aired, it needs to be bought first. I've seen a pilot being shot and yet it was never picked up. From what I can tell, it won't get aired.

I have seen this pilot and it is one of the worst things I have ever seen; it will appeal to nobody; it has a terrible script for a start, a terrible design for the robot and the dialogue from the robot is very hard to understand; why anybody would pay to get this made is beyond me.

i find gay robot funny as hell. maybe its cause i have a "dry sense of humor...and a muddy bottom."
