Jake Busey was in Lonesome Dove and Comanche Moon ( or so I thought )...

I am watching Comanche Moon when all of a sudden Jake Busey appears on screen . ( He was part of Ahumado's Crew in Comanche Moon and ( what I thought ) was a Horse Thief in Lonesome Dove -- remember that awful Jake Spoon hanging )??. Anyway - I thought to myself " That's cool -- he was in both Lonesome Dove and Comanche Moon . I wonder if he is playing the same character at a younger age "???? -- But then I started to think about it . ...........
Thank God for IMBD !!! The horse thief in Lonesome was played by Gavin O'Herlihy . I could of sworn that was Busey !! Did anyone else think the same ???
I didn't read all of the message topics here for Comanche Moon . I apologize if this was already brought up . But they sure do look a lot alike !
