Helsinki's Syndrome

Didn't they mention Helsinkis Syndrome in this movie? because if they didn't, they should have, because that doctor got a bad case of it.

She wouldn't develop that after such a short while. At least, not from what I've read. She simply responded to "Sally" being so open, obviously naive, and trusting. After all, she's a doctor and has a young daughter, making her doubly sympathetic, even if this is one of her captors. Anyone would have realized that this girl was being swept along. The girl obviously was not bright enough to come up with the whole scheme. I think it was the person, not the situation, that drew her sympathy.
