Piper Laurie was a lot like she was in Carrie

Piper Laurie's character reminded me of the role Laurie played in Carrie,
a mom who dictated to and damaged her daughter, particularly about
relating to the opposite sex.

Piper Laurie was attractive when she was young. She did not age well, to say the least.

In addition to the original Carrie, Piper Laurie also appeared as the same kind of stuck up religious nut when she played Dakota Fanning's grandmother in Hounddog.
