Yeah! I read this on the newspaper a few days ago ( btw: http://cinedehorror.blogspot.com ) but I'm not happy. this movie is great and Don't need a remake AT ALL!

All this movie needs is a international distribution, not a remake. (it cost $700.000, wath are tehy gonna do with $20.000.000? pumped it with cgi "ghosts")

well i also heard that spike lee is going to direct, not the original one's director!!!!!!although RCN is not the most trustable source

reply

Spike Lee is not a horror films director. He use to make social movies about racism, though he launched a film about a bank robery, with Jodie Foster and Denzel Washington. A very good movie.

If RCN (a colombian T.V. broadcaster) said that, then it was a tele - prompter mistake or something. Perhaps they tried to tell that ROY LEE, the executive producer of films as The Ring, The Grudge, Dark Water, The Departed among many others, will be the executive producer of the remake.

The movie director attached to this remake of Al Final del Espectro DO IS Juan Felipe Orozco.

I saw this fine movie during the HiFFNY, April, 2007. during the Q/A the director, Orozco, confirmed all of this, but added that they are still negociating his role as director...

reply

It's confirmed, last week they said on TV, Orozco's gonna direct it.

reply

when is the remake filming gonna start, any info about this? cast? dates?

reply

Don't know because Kidman is now filming in Australia, then in setember goes to Berlin to film The Reader. So not very soon I suppose.

reply

is she filming "the reader" before she films "need" then?

"they should give nicole kidman an oscar for being able to show any emotion after THAT much botox".

reply

i could see her in this role.
it seems to fit the type of movies she makes.

this movie isn't all the great to begin with though...

Why do you *beep* Americans have to remake EVERY single foreign movie that comes out? Can't you get your own *beep* ideas? Seriously.
*beep* braindead nation.

reply

Why do little *beeps* like you always *beep* about *beep* that doesn't *beep-be-beep* matter? Or are you that *beepin* brain dead that this actually matters that *beeping* much to you?

Too bad this *beep-beep* movie has been *beep!-hola!-beep* made before, which kind of makes this movie a *beeping* rip off of another *beeping* rip off. Why the *beep* can't they get their own *beeping* ideas?
