In english My point of view on this film [SPOILERS]

There was just not much to this and more than anything the artsy crowd are calling it great. No one is asking just what was her problem/issues I personally think she was afraid to have sex. Either that or she was a nut job.

My second issue with this film is, there is a very brief line about her marriage. Just where was her husband all this time. servants are not that loyal as he is the one paying there salary, some kind of way it would have gotten back to him about the number of times this guy was around his wife.

He was keeping her or maybe I just may have it wrong and she was the one with the money,...Anyway, a woman would not act this way in those times with way to many people knowing what was going on.

I cannot understand how no one mentions these things, and just accepted what happened, as nothing came between what they were trying to do.

This went on for a very long time and why would he wait on her for that long when she already belonged to someone else. They did not divorce very often in those days. Did he think he could do as he pleases with her without any action being taken by the husband, Was this love on his part, because it seemed as the film wore on it became more about bedding her and this became an obsession.

Can anyone explain the ending to me?
