Why was the name "Saki" always so funny to everyone? I don't get it. Thanks for any answers.

It wasn't that her name was funny; it was that she was cute and the boys were acting up.
shareSaki was the name of the character in the original series. It's pop-culture knowledge over there, that we get to learn about later after researching.
"The Girl Who Stole the Eiffel Tower," is the greatest movie never made.
What does that matter? The boys in the class were aware of her character, or her predesessor in the movie: THEY ARE IN THE MOVIE.
