Is Abberline lycanthropic??

It appeared as though he was bitten/wounded by Lawrence in the last battle. At the waterfall he seems to look up at the moon in fear(I think he had the blade from the cane which for a moment I thought he was going to kill himself with, realizing that he would probably be the next werewolf). Anyways, just curious.

I think that's the clearly intended implication, an old-fashioned "evil never dies" horror film ending.

I agree - I thought that was a good twist even though I saw it coming. I enjoyed the Abberline character.

Loved that part. The only thing that would've made it better is if the movie had been set before the summer of 1888. Abberline was one of the inspectors during the Jack the Ripper murders. That would have been an awesome twist.
