Ok i'ts a Zombie movie but....

That dosen't mean i'ts ok to just go haywire with history.

American soldiers helping Finnish soldiers to blow up a Russian bunker?!
That plot is even more unbelivable than the Zombies.
Finland was allied with Germany and the Russians were allied with the Americans.

The US wasn't "allied" with Russia for most of 1941. There was even an
attempt at an Allied support force going to Finland when the Russians invaded
but that was in 1939. The Russians and Germans were considered allied
with each other due to the pact they signed to divvy up Poland. There
were a lot of complicated motives involved in the plans to send Franco-
British forces to Finland. There were even about 350 Americans who made
it to Finland before the war ended but nothing like this movie ever happened.

As for 1941 it was in June that the Germans invaded Russia and the Finns
joined in when a few days after the start of that the Russians bombed
several cities in Finland. It wasn't until October of 41 that the Russians
began to get Lend Lease support, and not until after Germany declared war
on the US in December that the US and the Soviets were technically "allied".

With a movie so lazy on historical aspects like this that makes it damned
difficult to enjoy it. I gave up after ten minutes.

I agree. The beginning of this film is pretty rough for anyone with any knowledge of military history (or strategy, for that matter). You pretty much have to turn your brain off in order to enjoy this film. The film really wasn't that bad once the zombies started attacking. If you go into the film thinking that this is just a fan-made attempt to turn the COD Nazi Zombie franchise into a movie, it makes it much more easy to just enjoy the film for what it is.

Stand up. Hook up. Shuffle to the door.
