Was the doctor supposed to be a pervert?

Just wondering if he was supposed to be a pervert? He shoves all 4 of his fingers into her even though she tells him she is in pain, and he tells her he is going to test her flexibility? WTF? If so, he deserved having all his fingers bitten off.

Yes, he was.

Thought so, just thought I'd ask and be certain. Thanks.

Do you even have to ask?

reply

I wondered the same thing, since he didn't look particularly turned on. I suppose so, or he just enjoyed inflicting pain, or was just a quack doctor that didn't understand how vaginas work.

reply

Gynecologists don't "test your flexibility." There's no reason for them to do that. They also absolutely would not ever stick their fingers into you without gloves on, much less more than one or two fingers. He figured he could get away with doing all that because it was her first time and she didn't know any better. He was definitely a pervert.

reply

Also, gynochologist never suppose to check someone alone. He should always have a physician assistant/nurse present. I think that's why he kept his mouth shut because he was wrong on so many levels.

Except they don't take their gloves off to do any kind of examination.

reply

Not to mention that the guy in question wasn't a doctor. He was an actor pretending to be a doctor and he did a 5h1tty job of it from start to finish.

He was obviously going for some kind of sexual contact but it was hard to determine because of his poor acting skills.

reply

You're a dumbass as well as a creep. Doctors don't do that.

Go away creep.

reply

I don't think he was a pervert necessarily, but he was certainly a trope - a male gynecologist who lacks empathy and a decent bedside manner.

reply

Yes, he was definitely a perv. He asked her something like "is this your first time?" and "so you don't know what to expect?" He knew she didn't have anything to compare it to and thought he could get away with it.

reply

akittencalledjen is right. Asking if it was her first time (and whether she knew what expect or not) and testing her flexibility was just disgusting.

reply

In addition, would a high school aged girl be able to have a vaginal exam without a parent or guardian there? I know, I know... It's just a movie.

reply

In the US, underage girls have every right to keep their medical procedures private. It'd be screwed up if it wasn't. No sexually active girl would seek obgyn medical attention if their parents were prudes.
