The acting

I really liked Gone with the woman, but sometimes the acting (like in most norwegian movies) felt really theatrical. Mostly in the scenes between "Him" and Marianne. Was this a choice made by the director?

Apart from this, everything was top notch, especially Fausa Aurvaag as Him.

The stiff acting between the two main characters was definitely a deliberate choice. Probably to underline the tension/distance between the characters.

yeah, I was thinking about something like what you suggested pevaskjeva. Since so many Norwegian movies are theatrical, or stiff as you said, I became a little uncertain. Thanks for the input:)

it was because so much were clichès.. It's like they read their lines from a clichè-brochure. To the point, and exaggerated.

I have read some of Erlend Loe's books and as far as I remember the dialogs are always a bit weird like that... But I also agree with the points stated above.

I really liked the movie by the way 7/10.

Hehe, the film can be described as a great collection of weird conversations.
