So the husband was the boyfriend?
Of course it's sort of open to interpretation...
1) Ben was the boyfriend and Lewis was the husband.
2) Ben and Lewis are different personalities in the same body.
3) Ben was the husband and Lewis was the boyfriend.
Ben asks, "Do you love your husband?"
By the time he asks this, both of them have been exposed to the signal.
All of us have asked this question to people at some point, referencing your own title in the third person. For instance if a boy is mad at his mother, and the mother asks, "Don't you love your mother anymore?"
It may sound weird, but I got in trouble once at work and asked my boss, "Do you like your Employee of the Month anymore?"
So my favorite interpretation is the one where Ben is actually the artsy, flighty husband, and Lewis is the big, hulking boyfriend who can keep a job. For this to work, Ben the husband would have to know that Mya was cheating on him with Lewis, but allowed her to do it for some reason.
I`m sorry for my lack of manners, but I`m not used to escorting men.
