Major Flaws Noticed

I haven't seen the movie, but 360 mph? You sure it wasn't 360 km/h which equal about 225 mph?

Actually, several people have modified their Mercedes SLR's into having a manual transmission. Pointless? I think so, but it can be done. And yes, it does come stock with a five speed automatic transmission.

Getting a Ford GT to do 220-230mph is possible. There are several people on the net who have modified the heck out of their Ford GT with twin turbos, and other goodies. Many of those lucky bastards have claimed that their Ford GT is very capable of doing 220-230mph. 220-230mph is not that hard to achieve if you have the $$$ to mod a supercar.

With first fact I agree, although you can always modd tranny, flappy paddle would be the best for SLR, but SLR is road built supercar, so automatic was the choice.

Second, adding N20 isn't gonna drasticaly change top speed. With 100 shot you get 10mph max. and even for that you have to throw extra modds in the engine. To propel diablo over 225 installing a turbocharger is must. Just for the record, Gemballa installed TT on Diablo VT and push it over 250mph. N20 adds to acceleration, end of story.

Ford GT could easy hit 225mph, cause +10mph to GTs already high top speed is possible with minor engine tweaks, or removing S/C and installing TT. That propels it even more than 225, I wouldn't be suprised if it would hit 240.

To user with Z06 theory, alone with S/C, no way. You have to understand that S/C wouldn't make Z06 hit 240, but TT would. Another thing is tranny which although theoreticaly possible to push to 240, in real world wouldn't last long at those speeds, so a proper tranny moddification is recommended, if not essential. The higher speeds you try to acomplish, the more power and modds you need and the need grows exponentialy. There is a saying in tuning world: To hit 200mph isn't hard, but to hit 240+mph is more than hell.

How did the motorbike get in the air when jumping over the train tracks?

A house like Micheal's would definately have some security cameras for trespassers, so Carlo can't just jump over the fence and plant some explosives.

Landing a plane in the middle of the desert on a two lane road AND starting off again.... yeah right.

An SLR can't just come to a 200-0 stop by doing some donuts.

Which millionaire is stupid enough to have 2-3 supercars each worth over a mil, a mansion that size, but not have enough cash for a 25mil debt?

So you buy an Enzo for 1.2mil straight from the dealer and drive it like you stole it without breaking in the engine? Very healthy...

Without warming up the engine, you can't just take an SLR on a 2h rip revving the engine to the max, and as said before, not stopping once for some gas.


I agree with all the flaws found above aswell, of course.


If the producer had the balls, he should've used a Veyron in the flick, doing a showdown with a Koenigsegg CCX.

HP does is not the ONLY determination of a car's performance (even straight line perf). Think about how fast a 300hp motorcycle would be.

yes it has a automatic transmission, but you can change gears manually too
