Redline was my Citizen Kane. Academy Award performance by me!

My name is Joseph M. Solis. I played the part of the Ferrari Car Sales Manager. I had several lines in the movie acting opposite Tim Matheson but the one line I had that stayed in the actual movie was when Tim's character asked me about the new Ferrari Enzo on display. He said,"Sell me that car!" I replied, " Well, today it's only 1.2 million dollars!" That scene was in the original movie trailer that never showed up in theaters. I actually got the part by accident. I was working as an extra when the director, Andy Cheng, asked me to be in a scene in the Ferrari car dealership inside the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. I was non-union at the time working for Wild Streak Talent Agency and because I was given speaking lines, I received SAG Union pay for one day. $700.00! You can find the agency online: www.wildstreaktalent.com

Pretty cool, and congratulations on a very rare feat of walking into a speaking role on a film. I envy you. For the first time since the (very) dark two hours I spent in that theater wishing I could lapse into a coma (and that the friend that accompanied me had better taste in films) I've had a positive experience related to the movie Redline. I don't feel as cheated now either, I'll just think of the $10 I spent going to you :)
