Pumpkinghead III: Directors Cut

I've heard on the grapevine that Jake West has a definitive directors cut of the film that he has been working on for sometime as he was bitterly disappointed with the CGI work (quite rightly) and ran out of time and money to complete his vision. It apparently not only omits all the dodgy cgi shots but has some significant deleted material and he says is the definitive vision of the film. Though this is not the version being released by Sony on DVD in the US in march hopefully it will some day see the light of day. I for one can't wait to see it as love the film but can see it was compromised in certain areas. Hopefully more news on this will break officially.

I was on a night out on Saturday in London and Jake West was there (cos it was a night organised by the guys who do London Fright Fest and he is mates with them). Me and my brother were talking to him about Pumpkinhead 3 and he said pretty much what you said, that the cgi was really bad and not what he had wanted.

He may have mentioned a director's cut version but I was pretty wankered that night so bits and pieces of the conversation are missing.
