Ross Dinerstein is producing both this and 'The Public'

I wish we had more info on both these projects. Anything to hear from Emilio Estevez. He's too talented to quit the business now.

It might be a while until we hear something new about Kid Cannabis. Due to the actor's strike discussion, apparently one of the investors pulled out. Chris Marquette told us in October that he's still committed to playing Nate Norman. However, it looks like it's not happening before next year as Chris is off to Puerto Rico to shoot something else right about now.

Crossing fingers that they'll find another investor and shooting can get underway soon!

Heh. Nice bit of info, Bob. Now it makes sense how Chris transitioned from a possible role in The Public to the lead in KC. It's all about connections.

But now BOTH movies are going nowhere. It's pissing me off that Estevez is going to waste. And Marquette should be getting a turn of fortune by now too- Dano and Hirsch did.
