I am really happy Brandon Hardesty is now becoming a household name. Yeah fair enough his role isn't until towards the end of the movie but his acting talents and screen presence will make the film worth watching at the cinema and then buying when it comes out on DVD.

The story is so similar to other stories it is predictable and probably long winded. It sounds like what I have seen in many films someone starts with nothing, they build up a big illegal empire, they get caught, the end.

With the exception of "Lord of War" in which he gets away with it simply because he dealt with the most powerful people in the world. It's a bit like Hackers 2 only with drugs that's the way I will look at it until I have seen it

The only reason I will be watching this movie is because Brandon Hardesty is in it.He should really have the lead role he is better than the guy playing the lead.

I'll give you that Brandon is funny, he seems like a pretty smart and talented guy. I really like his YouTube stuff. (And I have to say that I only became aware of him after I learned he was attached to Kid Cannabis.) But to compare his acting to Chris Marquette's? Sorry, but they're so not in the same league. Just out of curiosity, which of Chris's movies or TV roles have you seen, oliver?

I don't think Kid Cannabis is gonna be a movie where predictability is an issue. Anyone who's read the Rolling Stone article about Nate Norman will know what the movie's about and how it's gonna end. I see it more like a movie that wants to tell a story and entertain people through that, and not like a suspenseful thriller where you're left guessing what's gonna happen in the next few minutes. I'm quite positive that Stockwell's gonna turn it into something cool and interesting and entertaining.
