shareNo it isn't. There is a movie in the works of "Into the Woods" at Dreamworks, and it's to be animated.

I find it really weird that a pretty decent cast has been assembled for this movie, and nobody knows a thing about it. Nothing. In this great age of the internet? Oh well.
sharei'm not sure but i would guess that this isn't a movie version of the musical into the woods. my guess is it's a documentary...too many great people who i can't exactly see acting together are in it! some of them (dave, rufus...) i can't even see acting at all, as great as they are. even so, what is it a documentary about???

There is a book titled "In The Woods" by Tana French that is one of the few mystery novels I've ever liked and it was spectacular. I would think it is maybe the adaptation but the cast seems poor for the book if so.
shareMy theory is they've assembled these actors and given them acid or mushrooms and then have them talk about being alive all in weird isolated venues. That's just the vibe I got.
