Well ...some dialogues are a bit funny ..but still the film involves
1-child murder
2-suicide (his friend killed him self)
..my info about comedy category must it must have happy ending ..any one ?
Have you ever heard something called "Black Comedy"? There are much worse things happening in Tarantino's and Scorcese's films but they are also comedies.

It's a black comedy. I, for one find it absolutely hilarious.
shareYeah, a dark comedy for sure. And it was a hoot. Colin Ferrell did a good job as a not too bright hood and friend to his older mentor. He was funny. The film did not try to be politically correct, which is always a breath of fresh air.
Ralph Fiennes part as the London crime boss, and his over use of the word F*uck in the extreme was a kind of parody of the way British hoods love that word and all of its derivatives.
Clémence Poésy as Chloe really turned my head in this film. I found myself flipping over her. Now she is not your classic beauty I suppose, but I wanted her badly.
Colin's character was such a nut, going on about 'midgets' and blacks and Vietnamese and Americans, and was in a funny way a very likeable person. He wasn't really a cold hearted killer as he thought he wanted to be.
The basic plot dealt with a somber subject, the unintentional murder of a young innocent boy, and that was never trivialized. But the caricature of the character types was a blast.
Mcdonagh is a master of Dark Comedy!
