Does anyone know the name of the bank heist movie that Michael Caine and Demi Moore go to see in the first act of "Flawless?"

It's a black and white british movie from the 50's I think. Michael Caine makes a remark about how unrealistic it is that the bank robbery takes place in the middle of the day.
