Anybody else think so? I was thinking when the scene began: "Why do they have Glenn Close in old makeup to make her look basically, her own age?"
Then I realized is was Demi! She looked really severe in this movie, which played well with the 1960's theme.
I suppose you are right, there was some resemblance now that you mention it.
But I entirely forgot that I was watching Demi Moore in this movie.
Which is a good thing, as I think any actor wants you to focus on the character being portrayed and not the actor underlying the role.
yes - even her younger, i thought she looked a bit like glenn close (mainly the face). when the film started i actually thought it was genevieve bujold, i didn't realise until the end that they had made demi look older.

shareYeah... In the initial scene, they show her sitting at the table some distance away and I was thinking Glenn Close in bad makeup designed to make her look, well, her age now... But as they zoomed in closer, you could see it was just a makeup job on Demi. It served it's purpose, but Julianne Moore's was bad in The Hours. Like she had on one of those mask treatments that freezes your face and makes you talk funny and look like a zombie.
