LUFF film fest says

Contrary to Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez’duet, Chad Ferrin doesn’t claim to bring the “grindhouse” spirit back to life. Yet, if during the last 15 years a movie managed to capture the real “grindhouse” spirit, it’s clearly Easter Bunny, Kill! Kill! Forget about *beep* irony and far-fetched style effects and discover the pure insane savagery of what such a movie really was. Chad Ferrin makes no compromise, and produces a slasher full of suffocating caustic indifference, light-years away from your average serial killer movie. Neither teenage *beep* nor referential jokes or cynism about the chosen genre. Just a history of violence that disturbs, not to be watched by anyone.
