I heard that this movie has been sent in to the Toronto Film Festival...Does anyone know if thats true, and if so, did this film make it in? Thanks.

shareI believe it was to be shown at the Hamptons International Film Festival in NY in October ~ I'm assuming that happened,although I haven't actually heard for sure.
I just returned from the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, and was lucky enough to catch the Florida debut of Canvas. It is a great and very powerful film, with an extremely important message. I think the film is on its way to St. Louis for a film festival there next. I only hope that they can work out a distrubution deal, because it is important that this movie gets as much national attention as possible..
