Is there any reality in this show?
I just saw Jonathan on Dog Eat Dog on GSN tonight, and that episode is from a few years ago, and apparently some of the other people are actors as well, so these people were obviously not just everyday civilians chosen at random...is this all just acting?
You should think for yourself and not rely on other people to tell you what to think.
Especially strangers on the internet.
I mean you said you just saw the dude on another game show, so what do you think?
i believe that it was staged, partly,...but not because a guy was on another game show...
there have been other instances where people just get on game shows cuz they like it...
they have shown on GSN where contestants have been on wheel of fortune ANd fear factor, and... etc etc etc.
just cuz someone was on one game show doesnt mean that they couldn't be picked for another. in fact, it probably is asked of them. "have you ever been on another reality show??" and if so they probably like the demographics of that and maybe they have a higher chance of being chosen again...
I just watched a rerun of the fox show "Arrested Development" where Jonathan had a walk-on role as a waiter!!

shareContestants on game shows and reality shows are usually wannabe or working actors. An audition is an audition - Vanna White was once a contestant on The Price is Right (not sure if there's any real "auditioning" for that though), Tom Selleck was on the Dating Game - it happens all the time. Actors would be the first to know when game show auditions are being held and it's a great way to get the bills paid. Doesn't mean the show's rigged.
