It's "coincidental" that they came to a decision at the FINALE, they had the check ready for one voting session, and it just happened to be the finale, and they couldn't have known the final vote since he hadn't even opened it yet, but the check was still there....
It's so staged it's insulting that they expect us to think it wasn't.
I still watched almost every episode :p
actually he did look at the vote before he sent the box to the table there was probably 2 boxes one with nothing, one with the check and he sent up the one with the check after he looked at the vote

actually considering the show was only filmed over like a 5 day period, of course the producers already KNEW who the winner was and so they knew which episode they would make into the finale.
sharethey didnt know that would be the finale episode. i dont know if you all knew this - but the narrator at the beginning and ending of the show IS NOT LIVE, they added the voice later. And some of the contestants mentioned 30 days. So when they signed up they might have been told this would take a maximum of 30 days, which is probably when the money would completely run out.
This show is inhuman, but very entertaining.
