Friends rip-off

Good Lord. On last week's episode, John Lithgow and Jeffrey Tambor were discussing a threesome. It seemed to bear a very striking resemblance to a conversation that Joey and Chandler had on Friends. Anyway, it started with something like:

"If we're going to do this, we should establish some ground rules."
"First rule. Eyes closed at all times. And I mean at ALL TIMES."

Damn it all! Tambor even seemed to be delivering the line in the exact same manner as Matthew Perry did. Hand gestures and everything! I couldn't stay to hear the end of it. I was disgusted and wanted to blow up my T.V. Instead I walked out. I could have changed the channel, but the knowledge that the show would still be playing was too much to bear. I walked out of my own living room for God's sake. What the hell is this world coming to when a man has to walk away from his own television!?

This show is a horrible, depressing sham. The writing is awful. 99% of the jokes fall flat. The laugh track approaches a M*A*S*H-level of inappropriateness. The daughter can't act. John Lithgow and Jeffrey Tambor deserve much, much better.
