How is it that the networks havent caugt on that no one likes laugh tracks anymore. Look at all the Emmy winners recently, Scrubs no laugh track, My name is Earl no laugh track, The Office no laugh track. The kind of comedy that people watch nowadays isnt the kind that can be put to a track anyway so why are they still using them?

In the business it used to be no laugh track=flop. Police Squad was canceled partially due to the producers disliking the director because he refused to insert a laugh track.
The laughtrack on this show really ruined theexperience for me, I thought it was a nice show, but lose the laughtrack and there's a great show.
