We, erm, get it Charlie. She's a friend. We do get it... Charlie we get it, okay...now stop it Charlie... I'm warning you!

I don't understand the problem? She's not a significant contributor and is pretty much used when they need a bit of fluff or a scally in the youth tv episode. She adequately performs the role they give her and it doesn't make any difference if it's her or some other blonde. If they have someone willing to come on and can do what they need doing why bother going through the process of casting someone else?

... to give a job to a trained professional instead? Just a thought Mr. Grinch.

What professional training do you have to be to put a piece of chewing gum into your mouth in front of a camera? She's hardly robbing some Sylvia Young student of a star making turn. The show regularly uses members of the crew for on camera segments that could go to actors but I don't hear you complaining about that. Ricky Gervais didn't train as an actor and he's headlined a Hollywood movie. Does that anger you to the same degree?

She's easily capable of the role she plays in Screenwipe, it's hardly acting. She's a featured extra. I doubt anyone professionally trained would consider it any more than a pay cheque if they got it and would probably whinge about how it wasn't what they got into the business for.

I don't have sleepless nights over this, Mr. Grinch, I'm just opining that his credibility is arguably stretched as a critic when his show employs people, in however blink-and-you'll-miss-'em a capacity, with dubious credentials. That is all.

And all I'm saying is the part she plays is so small and insignificant it actual has no reflection on the quality of the show over all. In fact having her in the youth tv special made sense because she was a big part of a show which mainly appeals to a youth market. Having her appear as a bit of fluff also makes sense considering her glamour work. Her credentials aren't dubious. They're perfectly suited to the role she plays in the show. That is all.

I think you probably don't like her or Big Brother and as such have decided her appearance in the show is a bad thing and even if she started acting and was amazing at it (which obviously isn't going to happen) you'd still complain because you don't like her.

I can think of a few folk who have made a career out of complaining that they don't like someone/something... Brooker can hardly feign shock when people question his association with a fairly ludicrous reality show contestant - unless he'd hired Aidleyne, as an actress, to go onto Big Brother, giving outlandish speeches in outrageous versions of patois and weeping at the slightest door shutting.

I'd forgot about this thread. Get over it she can do what they need for the show and they're friends. It's not an acting part and as I said before, her first appearance in the youth tv special made total sense.
