Alumni from Band of Brothers

Donnie Wahlberg (Lipton) & Frank John Hughes (Guarnere) are in this movie. Then I MUST check it out. I have no doubt in their acting skills, but how is the movie?

LoL, another one who sees a movies cast members and goes "oh, he's from Band of Brothers". Hehe, I do that _ALL_ the time and I even find that after recognising a BoB cast member, I begin to enjoy the movie a little more. Go fiqure :/

Though, I've yet to see this move so I can't really comment on it. But I'll definitely check it out now.

Uh, I see it kinda the other way.

now that I've seen them in this film.. it's almost like I don't want to see BoB.

but I will, I'll give these boys one chance.

We rented this movie tonight, my hubby was like, "It was one of the new releases." We started watching this, and I was thinking that it had to be at the very least ten years old. Nope, it came out this year. I blame the director, the guy should be shot, this movie was wretched (with the exception of Donnie and Frank's acting, of course, they were the film's only saving grace). There's a HUGE difference between a made-for-tv movie like this, and an HBO min-series like BoB, that's for sure. I feel like I need to go back and watch BoB just to redeem these guys.

On a side note: do you think Donnie got Frank his part in this movie, sort of like a favor for a buddy?

I also rented this one, felt totally ripped of and betrayed by the "almost cool looking" cover. I think that even if I downloaded this from the internet, I would still probably feel like I was ripped off.

This film is so bad it ranks right up there with Mummy Maniac, another one with a cool looking cover yet is horribly shoot my now kind of quality =P

I'm exactly the same. I've been searching out all the movies and tv shows that the actors have appeared in (and have gotten my hands on quite a few) simply because I adored them all in Band of Brothers. The main reason why I ever watched Transformers was Rick Gomez has a minute-long role. No one could play the sheriff as well as he did.

I liked Kings of south Beach, I watched it last night. And I'm glad I wasn't watching it with anyone because I was giggling like a maniac every time FJH got in Wahlberg's face.

I watched this lame movie. With Donnie Wahlberg and Frank J Hughes in it, I thought it would be more memorable. WRONG!!! All I know is that I couldn't hardly wait for the movie to end. Yes, I watched the whole thing, waiting to see if something exciting was going to happen.

Only a couple of scenes that would merit props, but the rest was LAME-OH!!!

I just hope that Donny and Frank find better scripts in the future, they were certainly wasted in this "made for T.V." movie.

Better luck next time.
