First 15-20 mins

I only watched the first 15-20 minutes because it was totally different from what I expected. Is it just me, or were there absolutely no jokes in the first 15-20 mins? I was expecting a laugh out loud comedy that would be as good as Shaun of the Dead, but I didn't laugh at all in the bits I watched. Was this the same for anyone else?

In all fairness I don't recall there being too many 'laugh out loud' gags in the first 15-20 minutes of Shaun of the Dead, either..

Films need to set scenes, introduce characters and establish plot lines and that can be done in the first 20 -30 mins.

I can't think of many horror/comedy films that have laugh out loud gags in the first 15-20 mins.

You should have given it time to establish itself..

At least Shaun of the Dead was entertaining. I just found Black Sheep boring and gave up.

You know that a movie has to develop and usualy the first 30min are just for the viewers to understand what the story is about - even Shaun of the Dead did not only have good scenes.
The movie is getting much better a little while into it. Just relax and enjoy the crazy sheep

What about the "scary movies" especially number 1, there hilarious from the beguining to the end
