Patrice Leconte also *behind* the camera

In the "Making Of" feature of the DVD I watched, it became apparent that Patrice Leconte was not just directing the film but that he was *behind the camera* as well and that not just for dummy runs. Kind of unusual that, non?

Very nice movie, I thought.
