I'd love to know as well. I ran into a rumor that it was being released in September in the UK (it's on the Warner Bros. release schedule), but have yet to see anything for a US release.
shareWell, a "Brave Story" DVD with a 112-minute runtime has appeared on Amazon UK with a PG age rating and distributed by Optimum Releasing, who also released films such as Spirited Away, so I have no doubts that it's coming out here in Britain sometime this year.
As for America? It probably won't be far from that.
