Mine was definately the homecoming. Watching all that fighting and danger for over an hour and then to see them back in the USA within a minute is unbelievable. You get the impression that Iraq is this far-away place on a seperate world, but this shows you just how close Iraq really is. One plane trip is the difference between war, poverty, death and 'civilization'. The police escort & salute, along with the ceremony was also pretty nice and emotional.
shareI agree completely with your choices for highlights. Here's a major spoiler for everyone... I noticed three fresh corpses co-starring at various points in the movie. Instructive, isn't it, which of these deaths seemed to really bother our guys, and why? It speaks well of them, their professional ethics and values.

My favorite and worse part is when the **** one expresses his true feelings and his love for Dick Cheney, with the same part of him complaining on censorship of the video of the dog eating the human remains of the insurgents.
