I haven't seen many posts about E.T., but...

I posted a post like this,and they sayed its nothing like ET.The more trailers they show,the more the blatent plagerisim reveales itself.Its like mac and me or Badi.And they have full mcdonalds licences,so this abomination is bound to push the product placement to the max like Mac and Me did.

Two-foot-tall aliens have a growth machine buried underground, and a rentable lakehouse was built on top of it. They plan to dig it up, then a huge fleet of them will come to Earth and take over after they all grow big. Their engineer is a nerd like the main kid.

There's one sheriff in it, and he spends most of the time eating grilled burgers with the parents. How is this at all like E.T.?

It sounds more like the original form of ET, "Night Skies".
