Just wondering, as in the trailer there are 80s cop cars but in most information about this movie, it says it's set in 1976? I'm guessing maybe most of the movie is set in that year and then it moves on? or what? just wondering. thanks. can't wait to see this.

While watching I was always confused about who was who during flashbacks, and esp WHEN, thinking critical stuff happened in the 70s and then (jumping ahead perceived decades) nobody looked as I'd expected. Bewildering.
Anyways, gave it a 7 on my personal psuedo pass/fail system of only a few allowed choices: 10 for stuff recommended to friends, or 7 for mostly successful, then 4 to unequivocal failures, and 1 for absolutely Hated-It / more evil than most hollywood dreck; YMMV.
