IMDB is ....wtf...who does their math for ratings

I mean come on, I won't take the time to copy and paste from their ratings page for Skid Marks...but it has a 3.1 weighted average while over 60% of the votes are over 6, a very small number rated it one, much, much less so rated it 2, 3 or 4, even 5 was not that much, the greater number of votes were 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 with the numbers of voters growing higher as it got to 10....females gave a weighted ave of 7.1, but the males for some reason was 3.1 which ends up being the final number??. I can look at most ratings, then the W.A. and for the most part it does seem to add up, but its still not what I would call a valid rating system as there are a insane amount of retards that vote out of spite or worse have not even seen a movie (Uwe Boll seems to get this a lot) and rate it just cause they hate someone associated with it. But once in a while...we get a f'ed up rating like this. Which is *beep* as you just know that some people that don't know any better will see the rating and make their decision(s) based on it.

Maybe they just realized this movie totally sucks and they graded it themselves appropriately.

You really have to ask? Go take a look at who rated this GARBAGE 8-10/10. They are all obviously unsubstantiated/false ratings. Go watch this pathetic piece of rubbish and tell me how anyone can give it a genuine 10/10 or even 6/10. All "reviewers" that gave this pos anything over 6 have only one single review. An obvious attempt at boosting sales and awareness of this unbelievable awful mess.
I think the administrators override cases like these and ignore the falsified testaments, as far as rating is concerned. Either that or ppl have watched it and voted accordingly without bothering to comment on it.
A truly desperately unfunny, atrociously written, directed and acted movie.

haha, females aged 45+ average 7.3 or so.

Accounts that are not regular voters carry less weight when it comes to averaging the votes. So, indeed, the 100+ fake users, many of whom posted on the board here, pretty much don't count for much of anything.
