There hasn't been one comment on this movie before 2010?

I just happened upon this yesterday, my sister had given it to me to watch. It was a good movie, sad though

If you go to the number pages on some of the posts, there are comments dating back to 2008, maybe older. I think IMDB is listing dates by the last comments on the posts, not when they were originally posted.

The film's underrated. But those who saw the film somehow loved it. I guess we're one of them.

This seems strange to me too. I have never come across an IMDb board with more than a thousand votes but less than one page of threads. I thought this movie was way more well-known.

It might be that such a powerfully rueful film doesn't engender an immediate enthusiastic review. Those who can relate to the film and who are deeply moved by the film don't proselytize it because we're in an elegiac funk.
