Just watched the movie and I must say it was a master piece.

It felt like reading a simple yet so deep a poem that you forget everything else. for these 80 mins, I couldn't even once take my eyes away.

I so want to recommend it to my friends but unfortunately, none of them have the taste. :(

can anyone recommend similar movies(in terms of simplicity).

If you like this short film you might prefer this guy's animated series. He has an acclaimed series called Cowboy Bebop which you can watch for free on Animefreak.tv or something. Not as simplistic as the short film. But very good. And the dubbed version is great.

Edit - Oh yeah, he also has a series called Kid's on the Slope which is much simpler and the end might have you in tears.

--Also, maybe Midnight in Paris, Paris Je T'aime, Tokyo. Non-animated though.
