His/her outfits just add to the confusion...Ming Ming is a female, Tuck is a male (although the actor who does the voice is female), but I am at a loss at what to refer to Linny as.

shareIn the episode where they visit Linny's Grandmother, I think I picked up on something that finally clarified this question. What shocked me more was learning that a female, Teala Dunn, voices the male character of Tuck. There is nothing remotely feminine in her voice! Linny's voice is fairly feminine and the only thing that I think causes confusion is her wearing the gold baseball cap and the blue cape... but since I used to love my baseball cap (white and yellow purchased at a department store in the early 80s) when I was an adolescent, I just focused on her voice's pitch.

shareI noticed that in Save the Nutcracker, Ming Ming had pink ballet slippers and Tuck had black; Linny had pink as well. What threw me is she danced with a female doll. (whereas a male doll wanted ming ming to dance with him).
