I think Matt should release it to the unsuspecting non-snuff-box watching public and see what happens as it is so catchy and his voice is fab!!! I would definately buy a copy!
Anyone ever seen ad/bc a rock opera? He wrote and sang most of the music! Its v good!!!

does he actually sing it, its sounds as if he has sung it at half speed then speeded it up to sound like it does.
shareI wonder how many more episodes they'll use the same song (eg. the theme) in. Ah, I do love that song. The "duet" with the shoe salewoman was weak though.

I also love the song Matt sings at the start of the Creeping Moss episode of Darkplace, though it's really Thornton's "rap" at the end that makes it so damn great.

I loved that song too. Back when that Garth Marenghi episode came out me and my mates couldn't get it our heads for days.

No thats the Theme Tune to Snuff Box (Equally Brilliant) but back in 2002 there was a comedy called Garth Marenghi's Darkplace which Matt starred in. In one scene there's a cheesy music video to acompany the story and its just hilarious.

shareIt is a pretty sharp use of key change. Or just keys in general. I had to come here to look up who wrote it just based on how good it is.
It has that Dm7 thing that kind of makes it sound like you have heard it before, the first time you hear it.
Or maybe that is just the major, major, minor thing doing that.
I know, it's a very well written piece of music, with lots of clever touches. I'm hooked on the show for the music alone. I just cannonballed the whole DVD, never seen an episode before. I just couldn't get enough of the musical parts. Makes me wonder who Matt Berry is now, surely he's had hit records as a writer if he's that talented.
