I'm almost halfway through season 2...(opinion on show)

and I gotta say, this was a good show...but seemed to never really find a true identity.

There were some episodes that were very "kiddie" (Ex. Fear Factory, Child's Play), others were actiony like the older Superman series (Phantoms, The Man from the Edge of Tomorrow 1 & 2)...so far my fav episodes have been from Season 2...Cry Wolf (ep3) and Chained Lightning (ep4)...even had some "dark" elements (Lightning Lad losing an ARM!?!?).

Maybe that's why it never really found a fanbase worthy of continuing the show...a shame too. I only recently got into this series thanks to the episode of Smallville "Legion".

This show is awesome and its a shame it didn't get a 3rd season but this show was done with the intention to hype up Superman Returns.

I loved this show, myself... of course, I came in knowing the characters from the original comic books. The dark element you mentioned above was actually in the comics, for a short time (and the replacement they came up with, as well). I just picked up the third Season 1 DVD the other day and watched one of the two episodes I hadn't had a chance to see when they aired, "The Substitutes", and laughed my head off at some of their exploits. Have you seen the rest of the second season, yet?
