Calvin and Miranda on Discipling their kids

I was on Curtis and Ella's about Whooping kids, because the bible says spare the rod hateth the son, It's true if you don't whoop your kids they will run over the parent. Old school discipline works I don't what anyone says. Miranda getting mad when Ella say she would whoop her grandkids, because most folks would say to you, if you don't want me whooping your kids then keep them at home. I agree with that 100%

I'm with the old school discipline. I don't care what anybody has to say. Back when people whooped their kids and kids were paddled in school, the kids were more obedient and respectful to authority. Now that these kids don't have any consequences to their actions and they don't have any real disciplinarian at home, they are out of control. They have no respect for anything or anybody, they disrespect people's private property, they have no morals or values, they don't listen, they won't go to school, when they do go, they bring weapons to school with them, they're robbing innocent people, cussing at and beating up the elderly, cussing at and beating up their mothers, stealing from their neighbors, they have absolutely no respect for authority figures, etc. Most of this stuff was unheard of just a couple of generations ago, particularly in the black community, because kids knew that they would get their asses beat at home if they got out of line. Now, these kids are terrorizing the community because they know that they won't have to suffer the consequences and if someone tries to hold them accountable, most of the time, especially in the black community, the mother will come to the rescue and try to check the authority figure, instead of stepping up and checking her own children and they wonder why these kids behave the way they do and why so many of them are getting shot or beaten up by police and other authority figures. Not saying that the authority figures are 100% right or that the police have any right to abuse their authority because they can get beside themselves, too but if some of these people would actually act like they have some sense and behaved respectfully when they're approached by the police then there probably wouldn't be a major incident, in the first place.
