Lol yes, I've been rewatching the show and those scenes were painful to watch. Awkward as heck.

shareLaguerta actually put her hand down Dexter's pants in the book and he pushed her off of him. She then freaked out. She ended up getting killed at the end of the 1st book. That is probably why Laguerta's crushed ended after season 1. Season 1 of Dexter is extremely similar to the first book besides what happened with Brian at the end.
shareI know it wasn't mentioned later on but I still had it in mind that she kind of romantically likes Dexter and there were moments (with Doakes) where that knowledge helped me believe that she would overlook anything pointing towards Dex not being what he seemed to be.
shareI'm only briefly into the series right now, but I kind of get the feeling that she's into Dex, he's not into her, but Doakes is into her but she's not into him, so he hates Dex cause he's a constant cockblock for him.
