Opening Attack

What's the deal with that opening scene? The women smacks the shovel into a mound of dirt. Mound of dirt moves. She gets splattered with mud. Then all of a sudden she gets sucked into the water.

Due to the strange promo for the film I wasn't sure if this was a killer croc movie, and after this scene I still couldn't tell.

Anyone else think that scene was bizarre?

Other than that it's decent horror movie. Certainly better than a 3.8
