I think i missed some details, can anyone help me out?

I was watching this in the background the other night and was actually very pleasantly surprised how much I liked it. But I think I missed some details.

I didn't quite folow the whole double cross at the end. The guy who came to rescue them suddenly tried to kill the only two survivors? I saw the Shaman's necklace hanging in his jeel but just wasn't following.

That's what kept confusing me. When they called him (Harry) Gustav, I kept saying "I thought the Croc was Gustav?"

Why was the Warlord "Little Gustav" ?

Or because they were both cold brutal killers. Lil Gustave ruled by fear; associating himself with Gustave helped to accent that fear.

Thus, the ending gives us a sweet bit of poetic justice.
