I've seen Rogue and thought it was pretty good. I'm just wondering if this is on par with that film?

Rogue is decent.

This had a good story, Rogue didn't. I liked Rogue only for entertainment value.

I thought Rogue was vastly overrated. In some ways, Primeval is more entertaining. But in all, Rogue is definitely a better-crafted movie.

Primeval is worse than Rogue. Primeval can be complemented for trying to bring in other topics in addition to crocodile-related stuff. But it didn't do it very well.
