How can Jenny Mcarthy be associated with anything as sacred as Christmas and Santa Claus....wow...not necessarily a role model I want my children around.

But also you have to wonder who allowed her to be in this role and why, considering her career up until now. But anyhow, it's probably better to go watch The Santa Clause. This movie wasn't totally for kids, since there's alcohol mentioned, even if the participants are legal.

You guys are prime examples of the sexism that still exists in our ignorant society. You're only complaining because Jenny McCarthy is a female. Do you realize how many bad things Tim Allen has done in his lifetime? He's done drugs, been to rehab for alcoholism, was arrested for drinking and driving, etc. Jenny has done nothing except appear naked in a magazine, yet she's the bad role model you guys are complaining about? Scary...

Personally, I think Jenny McCarthy is 1) very good in this movie, and, 2) an extremely talented comic actress. I've also seen her as herself and find her absolutely HYSTERICAL. So what if she posed for Playboy, what, 12, 13 year ago? Who takes that as a negative anymore? Lots of actresses/models have gotten their start that way, and many in worse. Let it go!

I don't object to Jenny McCarthy being in this film because she showed some skin once upon a time. What I object to is her horrible acting skills. It's obvious this film was made as a vehicle for her to show what a great person she is...all the references in the film...oh, you're so beautiful...you're so thin, you're so smart...yuk! She has a mule jaw and acts like she is pretending to act and not like she is really getting into any character that she is portraying.

You show violence in every possible way on tv, even during the day when children are watching, but show a piece of skin and there is hell to pay!
You are such hypocrits!
No child will watch Santa Baby, and think: She was in Playboy posing nude, so let's get pregnant.
I prefer my kid to see a beautifull naked woman instead of a body blown apart anytime.

I think Jenny McCarthy has really become a role model. She's a mother of a special needs child and she is very vocal about treatments for him. She has helped raise a ton of money for austism research. She is also in a stable, committed, monagomous relationship. Though she isn't married, she doesn't really make a big deal out of it or flaunt it (and she was married before she concieved her son). She's written several books, all of which have been very well received and reviewed. She seems to have really grown as a person and a celebrity since her Playboy and Singled Out days. Besides, if I looked like her I'd probably pose in Playboy too!! And we have all done things in our youth that we aren't neccesarily proud of, but people don't hold those things over our heads forever.
