What a surprise!

Grabbed this at the rental store in desperation for something to watch and was so surprised, right from the opening scenes I was captivated and could tell I was in for an interesting journey.

Terrific mood and art direction, acting and most importantly a story worth devoting my time to. Great work by everyone involved.

A fantasy film that restores some of my lost faith in that genre.
