Why were these adults in their mid-30s acting like teenagers?

I know Jamie Kennedy's character just got out of a coma but it was like the whole cast of adults in their mid-30s were acting like 15-year-olds. Horrible acting and script. This was one of the most ridiculous films I've seen in a while. Malibu's Most Wanted was funnier than this.

I agree this movie sucked, aside from a few funny moments. To answer your question as I see it anyhow, they were acting like 15-year-olds because they were reunited with their friend who couldn't help but act that way. They were living boring, or less than satisfactory lives in their 30's, but got caught up in the nostalgia of better days that came along with the return of their friend.

I will say, even though he was supposed to be acting like a teenager (I assumed more like 12 or 13 personally, did they say? Can't remember) I thought Jamie Kennedy went full retard here and was acting more like a damn 6 year old, with the speech patterns, playing in bouncy castles, etc. Teens aren't that flippin' slow.

I agree with you totally. This movie could have been slightly better if it wasn't for the cast acting like children, what a waste.

That's how Jamie Kennedy talks

Their characters were losers minus Bobby Lee
