Does it show Daniel's murder? I am assuming it does... but I have never been able to view this video. I remember when it happened, on the Today Show, Matt Lauer said he did decide to see it, but Katie Couric couldn't face it. Neither can I. I absolutely honor and value his life, but I don't want to traumatize myself either. I would like to see this documentary and see both sides of the story, as it describes, but I can't handle nightmares for the rest of my life. (Although, frankly, the news today is doing a good job on that as it is...)

Please, no lectures on why I should see a beheading, why it's important, etc. It is a personal decision.

No it doesn't show the beheading and is a much better film for not showing it. The footage is terrorist propaganda whose only purpose is to upset people.

Daniel Pearl's murder occurred in my city, actually not too far where I live. I myself have seen the real beheading video and yes it's extremely disturbing.

I was upset by it, is was so harrowing, the end where it shows his head is horrible because it IS real and that is someone who had a life and is dead, a more worse picture is of him smiling, unaware of his fate
